I wish I could say that I'm ready to start detailing this model again, but the body still needs a little work. I've toned down the metallic sheen in her coat and still have another layer or so to put on her before I can detail her.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for looking at my blog and leaving me a comment. I will take your suggestion and get some more detailed photos up, hopefully tomorrow.
Do you sculpt model horses as well? I know you customize them, but wasn't sure whether you sculpt them, too. I looked at some of your drawings and paintings -- very nice! There was one drawing of a cat I thought particularly well done.
I also noticed that you are in the Pacific Northwest. I am in BC, not far from Vancouver. So, keep in touch if you like!
Very best,
Susan K
Well, I took forever to answer this comment, didn't I? I didn't notice that it was here until today! Thank you for your compliments, Susan!
Yes, I do try to sculpt also, but I'm agonizingly slow at it since it's a new medium for me. I'm working on a walking thoroughbred that is around Classic scale right now. I haven't taken any pictures of him yet but will be posting them on my blog as soon as I do.
Thanks for your interest in my work, if you ever get down to NWC I try to be there every year (I missed this year though).
